ASCLEPIAS SYRIACA

As prescribed by the physician.

• Asclepias syriaca is a significant homoeopathic medicine prepared from the root of Asclepias cornuti (commonly known as Milkweed or Silkweed) belonging to the Asclepiadaceae family. It is well-known for its marked action on the excretory system, especially the skin and kidneys, and is frequently used in cases of dropsy, pleurisy, and catarrhal conditions. Its ability to regulate sweat, urine output, and address retained waste products makes it particularly beneficial in cases of headaches due to suppressed perspiration, uræmia, and fluid retention. It also acts favorably on female pelvic organs, the respiratory tract, and digestive system, making it a versatile medicine for both acute and chronic disturbances.
