A very important drug in the management of thyroid enlargement at the time of puberty. Uterine fibroids. Dermatological conditions like indolent ulcers accompanying varicose veins, tinea, flavus, crusta lactea can be treated with Calcarea iodata. Whenever there is any difficulty in breathing after syphilis and mercurialisation, Calcarea iodata can be used effectively. Also used in the treatment of Mollities ossium and tumours of the breast.
