CORALLIUM RUBRUM

As prescribed by the physician.

• Corallium rubrum is a valuable and important homoeopathic medicine prepared from Red Coral (Gorgonia nobilis), a marine organism from the Gorgoniaceæ family. It is known for its intense action on the respiratory tract, especially in cases of spasmodic and whooping cough. Corallium rubrum is especially suited for violent, rapid coughs that come in close succession, often causing facial congestion, suffocation, and exhaustion. The medicine is also characterized by symptoms in the head and nose, including post-nasal catarrh, painful nasal ulcers, and extreme sensitivity to cold air. It plays a supportive role in chronic catarrhal states, violent coughs, skin eruptions, and male sexual weakness, making it a multifaceted medicine for both acute and chronic ailments with strong mucosal and neuro-respiratory involvement. Common Name: Red Coral SBL’s Corallium rubrum can be helpful in the following conditions: Spasmodic and Whooping Cough • Aids in rapid, spasmodic, suffocative coughs, with violent, short barking episodes. • Helps when coughing fits follow each other so quickly that they almost merge.
