GLYCERINUM

As prescribed by the physician.

• Glycerinum is a deeply acting constitutional medicine used in its homoeopathic dynamized form. It plays a dual role—initially disturbing nutrition, and secondarily, improving the overall nutritional state, making it a powerful tissue builder. It is especially useful in cases of marasmus, diabetes, debility (mental and physical), and general exhaustion. Its effects are notable in the head, respiratory tract, digestive system, urinary organs, and reproductive system, particularly where metabolism and tissue regeneration are affected. Common Name: Glycerine SBL’s Glycerinum can be helpful in the following conditions: Nutritional Disorders and General Debility Supports tissue regeneration in wasting diseases such as marasmus. Glycerinum aids in improving nutritional absorption, especially in cases of long-standing debility. Helps in rebuilding strength in both mental and physical exhaustion, especially in chronically undernourished individuals. Manages constitutional weakness, making it suitable in convalescent and diabetic patients. Head and Mental Symptoms Aids in relieving fullness and throbbing in the head, especially the occiput. Helps in mental confusion and severe headache, particularly before menstruation. Supports clarity in patients experiencing cognitive dullness due to systemic debility. Nasal and Post-Nasal Conditions Manages sneezing, nasal obstruction, and irritating coryza. Helps relieve crawling sensations on the mucous membrane of the nose. Aids in managing post-nasal drip, especially when associated with dry or inflamed mucosa. Chest and Respiratory Complaints Supports relief in hacking cough, especially when the chest feels weak and congested. Helps manage influenzal conditions, including influenza with pneumonia-like symptoms. Aids in improving chest capacity and clearing mucosal congestion. Stomach and Digestive Health Manages burning sensations in the stomach and esophagus, often accompanied by gastric fermentation. Helps in regulating acidity and discomfort post meals. Urinary System and Diabetes Aids in managing frequent and profuse urination, especially when linked with increased specific gravity and sugar in urine. Supports in controlling diabetes, and helps in nutritional balance in diabetic patients. Helps restore systemic tone in individuals weakened by long-standing glycosuria. Female Reproductive Health Manages profuse, long-lasting menstrual flow, especially when accompanied by a bearing-down sensation in the uterus. Aids in relieving uterine heaviness, weakness, and general pelvic exhaustion. Supports hormonal balance and recovery after prolonged periods or chronic fatigue in women. Extremities and Musculoskeletal Issues Helps in managing rheumatic pains, especially of a remittent or shifting type. Aids in relieving painful, hot feet, often described as enlarged or inflamed. Glycerinum supports limb comfort, particularly in fatigue or metabolic dysfunction.
