As prescribed by the physician.

• Indigo tinctoria, or Indigo, is a homoeopathic medicine recognized for its marked influence on the nervous system and its significant role in assisting epilepsy, hysteria, and neurasthenic states. It exhibits a dual action—calming depressive states while alleviating nervous excitability and convulsive tendencies. It is also noted for cutaneous and mucosal itching, gastrointestinal disturbances, and urinary catarrh, alongside its traditional external use in snake and spider bites. Indigo is particularly suited for sensitive, gloomy patients, especially children with night terrors or emotional disturbances, and those prone to reflex spasms or worm-related convulsions. Common Name: Indigo, Dye-Stuff SBL’s Indigo tinctoria can be helpful in the following conditions: Neurological Conditions and Epilepsy Indicated in epileptic seizures, particularly where the aura begins between the shoulder blades. Useful for flashes of heat from abdomen to head preceding a convulsion. Indigo tinctoria addresses reflex spasms, especially from worm infestations. Indicated in neurasthenia, hysteria, and excessive nervous irritability. Relieves sensation of the brain being frozen or head feeling bound with a tight band. Aids children or adults with night crying, gloomy states, or emotional sadness. Gloomy and Hysterical Supports in states of gloom, mental sadness, and crying spells, particularly at night. Enhances mental clarity in those with excited moods, anxious, and urge to be busy. Balances hysterical presentations, especially where pain is predominant. Headache and Vertigo Manages vertigo with nausea and an undulating sensation in the head. Eases pressure in the head as if a tight band encircled the forehead. Beneficial in cases where the hair on the vertex feels pulled or head feels cold or frozen. Mucosal Affection Controls excessive sneezing and epistaxis (nosebleed). Relieves roaring and pressure in the ears, commonly associated with nervous sensitivity. Bloated Abdomen and Rectal Prolapse Helps with metallic taste, eructations, and bloating. Aids in anorexia and heat flushes originating from the stomach and rising to the head. Indicated in prolapse of the rectum and intense anal itching, especially at night, causing sleep disturbance. Catarrhal of Bladder Indicated in catarrh of the bladder, with turbid urine and frequent urge to urinate. Musculoskeletal and Limb Affections Indigo tinctoria manages sciatic pain, especially from mid-thigh to knee. Eases boring pain in the knee joint, which improves with walking.
