IRIS TENAX

As prescribed by the physician.

• Iris tenax, a homoeopathic medicine, is derived from the tincture of the lower or bulbous stems or the whole plant of Iris tenax, a species native to Oregon. Belonging to the Iridaceae family, it grows luxuriantly in clay ground and on hillsides. Traditionally known for its strong fibers used by Indigenous people for making cord and weaving, it holds therapeutic value in homoeopathy for addressing various conditions involving the digestive system, nervous system, and emotional well-being. Iris Tenax is primarily used to relieve symptoms such as headache, vomiting, abdominal pain, sleeplessness, and despondency. Common Name: Tough-leaved Iris SBL’s Iris tenax can be helpful in the following conditions: Headache and Scalp Burning Iris tenax helps in managing headaches returning weekly, starting in the right eye and extending to the right side of the head. Aids in relieving symptoms associated with vomiting of green bile, nausea, and chills between 2 and 3 p.m. Supports relief from dull aching in both temples, especially on waking early in the morning.
