SANGUINARINUM

As prescribed by the physician.

• Sanguinarinum, derived from Sanguinarin (C₁₉H₁₇NO₄), is a pearly white plant alkaloid prepared through trituration or as a solution in vinegar. This medicine is particularly useful in serious croupy conditions with fibrinous exudation, great difficulty breathing, and alarming symptoms of airway obstruction.
