UREA

As prescribed by the physician.

• Urea, also known as Carbamide, is a biochemical compound naturally found in the urine of mammals and is widely recognized for its role in the elimination of nitrogenous waste. In homoeopathy, Urea is used as a medicine in various pathological conditions, especially those involving the kidneys, liver, and metabolic disorders such as gout and diabetes. It also plays a valuable role in managing chronic skin conditions like eczema and systemic states such as dropsy, albuminuria, and uraemia. Urea assists to regulate abnormal fluid retention, promote diuresis, and reduce albumin content in urine, offering relief in many renal and hepatic insufficiencies. It has shown benefits in children with nephrotic symptoms, as well as in patients suffering from tuberculosis, where it acts as a mild nervous tonic. Common Names: Carbamide SBL’s Urea can be helpful in the following conditions: Albuminuria and Kidney Disorders Helps reduce albumin in urine, especially in cases with oedema, brown urine, and general dropsy.
