EPIGAEA REPENS

As prescribed by the physician.

• Epigaea repens is a valuable and reliable homoeopathic medicine prepared from fresh leaves of plant Epigaea repens, sourced from Ericaceae family. It is known for its strong affinity for the urinary tract, particularly in cases involving gravel, renal calculi, and painful urination. Widely recognized in homoeopathic use, this medicine aids in the passage of urinary sand, relieves strangury, and supports in urinary tenesmus with mucopurulent sediment and dysuria. Common Name: Trailing Arbutus Sbl’s Epigaea repens can be helpful in the following conditions: Painful and Difficult Urination Aids in strangury, with intense effort and burning during urination. Helps in dysuria marked by sharp pain, irritation, and difficulty in passing urine. Manages urinary tenesmus, with persistent urge to urinate even after emptying the bladder. Sandy or Gritty Sediment in Urine Supports in cases of bloody, mucopurulent urine containing fine brown sand. Beneficial when urine is cloudy or loaded with sandy particles, especially after repeated attacks of bladder irritation. Renal Calculi and Gravel Traditionally used in renal stone conditions, helping facilitate the passage of calculi. Aids in flushing out renal gravel, easing pain and inflammation during urinary flow. Epigea repens is recommended where urinary irritation is chronic, with sediment accumulation and recurring inflammation.
